Police in Regina have arrested a 49-year-old woman who allegedly robbed a local business and tried to stab a staff member last month.
The police received a report of a robbery of the business in the 4400 block of Fourth Avenue at about 11:50 a.m. on Sept. 8. Police said the woman was “grabbing items from shelves,” and when staff confronted her, the woman “produced a knife and attempted to stab the victim before fleeing the business.”

Police said the woman was arrested “without incident” on Oct. 15. She’s now facing charges of robbery and possessing a firearm or ammunition in violation of a probation order.
She made an appearance at Regina Provincial Court Oct. 16.
