In the span of four days between Oct. 18 and 21, members of the Turtleford RCMP detachment arrested 10 people in connection with several investigations.
The eight men and two women were detained after officers executed 15 warrants, ranging from kidnapping with a firearm, fleeing police, assault and other gun-related charges.

“This is just one of many examples of how targeted enforcement, the skills of our specialized units like the CRT (Crime Reduction Team), and our detachments’ intelligence are utilized to ensure violent offenders are held accountable,” sad S/Sgt. Ken Burnouf of the Turtleford detachment.
Along with the warrants, a dozen additional charges were laid and members recovered four stolen vehicles.
