Trick-or-treaters in Saskatchewan can expect the weather to co-operate on Halloween night.
But Environment Canada meteorologist Jason Knight said little ghosts and goblins may need to bundle up under their costumes.

“It’s just around 0 C, so fairly seasonal,” the meteorologist said.
“You need a jacket for the costume and all that, but no need to worry about the wind, or heavy rain, or flurries or anything like that. So just kind of cold, late-fall-like weather.”
Knight said almost all of Saskatchewan is currently under a ridge of high pressure air, making for a fairly calm evening.
“You may see a flake or two in the air, but there will be nothing in the way of accumulations, or really probability of precipitation at all,” he said.
He said trick-or-treaters will see some clouds in the sky and light wind.
“No worries about flurries or rain showers, and just sitting right around that freezing mark with light winds, so not too bad,” Knight said.
With November almost here, Knight said a little bit of a warm-up is expected, with both Regina and Saskatoon expecting a high of 14 C on Saturday.
“Then we’ve got a little clipper coming through, but it’s all rain showers, so we’re actually going to be staying quite a bit above normal for the coming week,” the meteorologist said.
But despite the warm-up, Knight said it’s important to keep an umbrella and a jacket handy this time of year on the prairies.
“It’s basically seasonal weather. We’re not actually looking at any sort of extreme weather the next few days, so it’s just that usual variability with fall,” he said.
