Police arrested a wanted man connected with multiple alleged robberies after a high-speed chase that resulted in a police officer and a parked police car nearly being struck by a truck on Friday.
The RCMP said Kalen Felix, 20, was connected to multiple alleged robberies on Nov. 7. A week later, Prince Albert RCMP received a report that Felix was seen driving a truck on Sturgeon Lake First Nation at about 4:15 p.m.

Officers said they located the truck on Sturgeon Lake Road. Police said that the truck did not stop when officers activated their lights and sirens, and the driver took off at high speed.
The truck was driving “erratically, making dangerous manoeuvres” while trying to evade police, the RCMP said.
“While fleeing, the truck swerved at an RCMP officer who was on the side of the road setting up a tire deflation device,” said police in a statement.
According to police, “the officer ran into the ditch to avoid being hit by the truck, which nearly struck a parked police vehicle.”
While the truck was still moving, a man and a woman got out of the vehicle and the truck drove away, noted police.
The man and woman got into a nearby SUV and drove away. The two later left the SUV on Agency Road on Sturgeon Lake First Nation where Prince Albert RCMP arrested them before the SUV drove away.
“Officers identified the arrested male as Kalen Felix,” said the Mounties.
Prince Albert RCMP said it received a report that the SUV was spotted on Northshore Road on Sturgeon Lake First Nation. After the officers found the SUV parked at a house in the area, a male suspect was arrested inside the home, said police in a statement.
“As a result of investigation, officers determined one of the males was in possession of ammunition. The ammunition was seized. Further investigation determined the truck was previously reported stolen in Emma Lake, SK,” said police. Prince Albert RCMP recovered the truck.
Felix faces numerous charges, including robbery, weapon offences and uttering threats, according to police.
The 23-year-old Sturgeon Lake First Nation woman was charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, resisting or obstructing a peace officer and two counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
A 36-year-old man, also from Sturgeon Lake First Nation, faces charges of dangerous operation of motor vehicle, flight from peace officer and fail to comply with release order condition.
All three appeared in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Monday.
