A 20-year-old Regina woman was arrested on Friday evening after allegedly attacking another woman with a knife and stealing her cell phone.
According to police, officers were called to a business on Albert Street at around 7:40 p.m.

“When they arrived, they found an injured adult female victim, who had been assaulted with a knife and punched,” the Regina Police Service said in a statement.
“Following the assault, the suspect fled the scene with the victim’s cell phone. The victim was treated on scene by EMS for what appeared to be minor injuries.”
Police said the suspect was found “a short distance away” and was arrested without further incident. She’s been charged with robbery, police said, and appeared in Regina Provincial Court on Monday morning.
