Families looking for things to do this winter can use the Canada Strong Pass to visit one of the Western Development Museum locations in the province.
The Canada Strong Pass is a federal initiative that encourages Canadians to “explore and enjoy cultural attractions across the country this holiday season,” according to a statement from the Western Development Museum.

Visitors to all four of the museum’s locations – Moose Jaw, North Battleford, Saskatoon and Yorkton – can get free admission for children 17 and under and half off regular adult admissions for visitors aged 18 to 24.
Families don’t need to register or to show ID, as the benefits are automatically available to all eligible visitors.
“This initiative helps remove financial barriers and supports more young people and families in accessing Saskatchewan’s rich cultural heritage,” said Kristy Rempel, the museum’s director of community engagement.
“We’re excited to welcome new and returning visitors to explore our exhibits and programs this holiday season.”
The promotion is valid for regular admission only, and doesn’t apply to special events, registered programs, facility rentals or other paid experiences.
More information on the Canada Strong Pass is available on the federal government’s website.
