An 80-year-old man from Gull Lake was pronounced dead at the scene of a crash involving a train on Sunday night.
The Saskatchewan RCMP said police, firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the crash in the southwestern community at around 11 p.m.

The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene, and the RCMP said his family has been notified of the death.
“No injuries were reported by the train’s staff,” the RCMP noted in a statement.
The crash is being investigated by RCMP officers and CPKC police, the Mounties noted.
Montreal Lake man, 35, dead after crash near Montreal Lake Cree Nation on Sunday evening
A 35-year-old pedestrian from Montreal Lake was killed in a crash near Montreal Lake Cree Nation on Sunday evening.
According to the Saskatchewan RCMP, officers were called to the scene of the crash on Highway 969 at around 8 p.m. after getting a report of a collision involving an SUV and a pedestrian.
“The pedestrian was pronounced deceased on scene by EMS,” the Mounties said in a statement.
“He has been identified as a 35-year-old male from Montreal Lake, SK. His family has been notified.”
Police said the woman who was driving the SUV remained at the scene after the crash, and did not report any injuries.
“Impairment is not believed to be a factor,” the RCMP added.
The crash remains under investigation, the Mounties noted, with help from a police collision reconstruction expert.
