A crash involving a pedestrian and a pickup truck on Tuesday morning left a person with life-threatening injuries.
According to police, officers were called to the scene of the crash, near the intersection of Kress Street and Longman Crescent in northeast Regina, shortly before 8 a.m.

“Further investigation revealed a pick-up truck had collided with a female pedestrian walking on Kress Street,” police said in a statement.
“Injuries are believed to be life-threatening at this time.”
Police said parts of both Kress and Longman were closed after the crash to accommodate the police investigation, but the routes have since reopened to traffic.
“At this time the investigation continues,” police noted. “Updates will be provided as they become available.”
