Two men have been charged after Sask. RCMP found cocaine and a loaded firearm at a North Battleford home last week.
RCMP said in a news release on Dec. 22, that officers from the North Battleford Crime Reduction Team-Gang Task Force and Critical Incident Response Team executed a search warrant for a home on 102 Street as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation on Dec. 19.

Officers seized around 198 grams of suspected cocaine and crack cocaine, which will be sent to Health Canada for further testing, a loaded sawed-off firearm, drug trafficking paraphernalia, and a sum of cash.
Seven people were arrested at the home; five were later released without charge.
As a result of continued investigation, a 27-year-old man from North Battleford has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime less than $5,000, possession of a firearm when knowing possession unauthorized, unsafe storage of firearms and two counts of weapons possession contrary to an order.
A second North Battleford man, also 27, has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of possession of property obtained by crime less than $5,000, possession of a firearm when knowing that possession is unauthorized, unsafe storage of firearms and weapons possession contrary to an order.
Both appeared in North Battleford Provincial Court on Monday.
