Ring in the new year with some regal flair.
Bernadette and Rich McIntyre, as Saskatchewan’s Vice-Regal Couple, will host their first New Year’s Day Levee at Government House on Thursday.

The free event runs from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 4607 Dewdney Ave.
According to the Government House website, this “tradition in Saskatchewan stretches all the way back to 1884.”
The public are invited to meet and take photos with Their Honours at this special annual event.
There will be complimentary entertainment and festive beverages and appetizers.
The website says musical performers featured throughout the House include Brian Sklar and the Old Time All Stars Band, the Regina Mandolin Orchestra, harpist Glenna Stewart and pianist Jim Gallagher.

Children can also take part in the children’s craft room, according to the website.
No registration is necessary. Free parking is available east of Government House off Dewdney Avenue.
