According to the Saskatchewan RCMP, traffic officers stopped the woman’s car “for a vehicle equipment regulations violation” on Highway 16 near Maidstone on Thursday.

“As a result of further police investigation, the adult female driver of the car was arrested,” the Mounties said in a statement.
“A search of the vehicle took place and RCMP officers located and seized approximately four kilograms of suspected cocaine.”
Police said the 41-year-old woman is now facing charges of possession of cocaine and methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking. She’s expected to appear in court in Lloydminster in March.
