Regina Police Service (RPS) has begun a death investigation after officers found the body of a man in the Eastgate neighbourhood on Saturday.
RPS said in a Jan. 18 news release that officers were called to the 2000 block of Prince of Wales Drive around 5 a.m. on Jan. 17 and found the body before calling in the Forensic Identification Unit.
The death investigation is being conducted in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, and police said no further details, including the man’s name, would be released to the public at this time.
