Jolene Campbell and Team Saskatchewan remain in the playoff hunt with a 10-4 win over Yukon on Wednesday morning.
It was a much-needed win for the Regina-based curling rink after losing 10-4 to Team Canada and Kerri Einarson on Tuesday afternoon.
The win against Yukon and Bayly Scoffin’s rink improves Saskatchewan’s record to 3-3 as they try to find a way to qualify for playoffs at the Canadian women’s national curling championship.
Saskatchewan features Campbell as the team’s skip with Robyn Silvernagle at third, Rachel Big Eagle at second and Dayna Demmans at lead.
Scoffin and Yukon put up one point in the first end but Saskatchewan answered with three in the second end. After a blank in the third end, Saskatchewan once again added to its lead with a steal of two in the fourth.

Yukon added another single point in the fifth but Saskatchewan scored another trio in the sixth.
Scoffin put up two in the seventh as Saskatchewan added singles in the eighth and ninth as the game was then called after nine ends.
The win allows Saskatchewan to remain in the battle for the third and final playoff spot in Pool A.
Saskatchewan last won the Scotties in 2011 when Amber Holland’s rink took home the crown. Campbell was an alternate for that team.
The rest of their round-robin schedule is as follows:
