A 68-year-old man from Snowden, Sask. has been charged with first-degree murder after the death of his partner in November.
Previously Kevin Searcy had been charged with second-degree murder, Saskatchewan RCMP said in a news release on Feb. 3.
RCMP were called to a home in Snowden on Nov. 5, 2025 and found 69-year-old Diane Searcy dead.
Searcy will appear in Nipawin Provincial Court on June 15 for a previously-set preliminary hearing.
