A 36-year-old Regina man is charged with arson, break and enter to steal a firearm, theft under $5,000, unauthorized possession of a firearm, unsafe storage of a firearm and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
Punnichy RCMP said it received a fire report at a home on the George Gordon First Nation on Sunday morning.

Officers and local fire services responded immediately to the fire call that came in around 6:45 a.m.
No injuries were reported to police, noted the Mounties in a statement. However, the house was heavily damaged.
Punnichy RCMP then received reports of a male walking around the First Nation with a firearm at around 12:45 p.m. Officers said they responded to the report and arrested the man.
“Investigation determined the male broke into a residence, stole a firearm and started a fire,” said police in a statement.
The man appeared in Punnichy Provincial Court on Tuesday.
George Gordon First Nation is located 110 km northwest of Regina.
