A man was arrested for allegedly breaking into two homes in Southey on Tuesday morning.
At about 1:35 a.m., Southey RCMP said it received a report of a “suspicious male” knocking on a door of a home. Five minutes later, there was a report of a “suspicious male” inside a different residence.

Investigators found the door was damaged as the person entered it, police noted in a statement.
At 2 a.m., police received another report of a “suspicious male” inside a third residence.
Police said no items were missing and no one was physically injured in the homes the man had entered.
After officers patrolled the area, they located and arrested the man in Southey.
A 46-year-old man from George Gordon First Nation was charged with two counts of being unlawfully in a dwelling and one count of mischief under $5,000.
He will appear in Regina Provincial Court on March 4.
