A pedestrian was killed in a crash on Highway 11 on Tuesday morning.
According to the Saskatchewan RCMP, officers were notified about the crash near Hague, northeast of Saskatoon, shortly after 7 a.m. The pedestrian was declared dead at the scene by paramedics, police said.

“He has been identified as an adult male from Beardy’s and Okemasis’ Cree Nation,” the RCMP said in a statement. “His family has been notified. We are not providing additional identifying information about the male at this time.”
Police said the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene after the crash. No charges have been laid, but police noted that the crash remains under investigation, with assistance from a police collision reconstruction expert.
