Saskatoon police officers are investigating after a man was assaulted and robbed at Midtown Mall on Thursday.
Police were called to the mall in downtown Saskatoon around 5:20 p.m. on March 26 after receiving a report that someone had been assaulted and robbed.

When officers arrived, police found a 67-year-old man waiting in the security office. Saskatoon police said in a release that officers learned the man had been siting at a table in the mall when a man he did not know came up to him, hit him in the face and stole his shopping bag. The male suspect then ran away.
The victim was not seriously hurt.
Saskatoon police said it’s officers are continuing to investigate the incident.
