Two teenagers are facing charges after allegedly stabbing and bear spraying a man in Regina on Saturday.
According to police, officers were called to the 1600 block of Rae Street just before 10 p.m. after getting a report of an assault.

“Officers arrived and located a male victim outside a residence who had been stabbed and bear sprayed. The victim was transported by EMS to hospital to be treated for, what appeared to be, serious but non-life threatening injuries,” the Regina Police Service said in a statement.
“With the assistance of the Canine Unit, police located two suspects a short time later in the 2600 block of Dewdney Avenue. Both males were taken into custody without incident.”
Police said the two teens were each charged with assault causing bodily harm, while the 18-year-old was also charged with breaching the conditions of a release order.
Minors charged after allegedly threatening ‘random’ people with gun
Four boys were arrested in Regina on Sunday afternoon after they allegedly menaced people on the street with a gun.
Police said officers were called to the 600 block of Princess Street at around 3 p.m.
“Officers arrived and determined multiple suspects had been using a firearm to threaten random individuals walking in the area. Officers conducted a search of the area and located four suspects matching the suspect description,” the police force said in a statement.
“The fourth suspect ran from police and was apprehended with the assistance of a Police Service Dog. The suspect was assessed by Regina Police Service Detention Cell Paramedics for what, appeared to be, minor injuries consistent with a dog bite.”
Police said the teens were carrying a gun, a machete and bear spray at the time of their arrests.
All four of the teen boys, ages 14, 14, 15 and 15, were charged with possession of a weapon and carrying a concealed weapon, police said, while one of the 14-year-old boys was additionally charged with pointing a firearm, possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order, possession of a firearm knowing it is unauthorized, failing to comply with a release order and improper storage of a firearm.
All four boys appeared in court on Monday morning, police said.
