Veteran long snapper Aaron Crawford is joining the Saskatchewan Roughriders, bringing 13 years of CFL experience to the team.
The six-foot-four, 250-pound Crawford signed with the Riders after spending the previous five years with the Calgary Stampeders. Originally hailing from Medicine Hat, Crawford played in 66 games for Calgary, earning 16 special teams tackle and a defensive tackle.

Originally drafted by the Toronto Argonauts in the sixth round in 2012, Crawford spent time with the Argonauts, Roughriders and Winnipeg Blue Bombers before landing in Hamilton and playing for seven seasons with the Tiger-Cats from 2013 to 2020, appearing in 90 regular-season games.
According to the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Crawford has played in a total of 166 regular-season games and 10 playoff games, appearing twice in the Grey Cup final.
