Police in Regina have opened a homicide investigation after a 36-year-old man’s death on Monday morning.
According to police, officers were called to the 3100 block of Fifth Avenue just after 1 a.m. where they found the injured man.

“Life-saving measures were attempted by officers until EMS arrived and declared the victim deceased on scene,” the Regina Police Service said in a statement.
“The area was secured and the Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit, the Regina Police Service Forensic Identification Unit and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service were called in.”
Police said the man has been identified as 36-year-old Myles Anderson, a resident of the Queen City, and his death is considered a homicide.
The police force asked anyone with information on Anderson’s death, or anyone who captured surveillance footage in the area between Third and Sixth avenues and Athol and Robinson streets to get in touch with police or make an anonymous report through Crime Stoppers.
