A teen was transported to hospital after an injury during what the Mounties described as “a firearms incident” in Stanley Mission on Wednesday.
According to the Saskatchewan RCMP, officers were called to the northern community at around 3:30 p.m., where they found the injured teenager.

Police didn’t release many details of the incident, including the age of the teen, the cause or severity of their injuries, or whether other people were believed to be involved.
“We are unable to provide additional information about this investigation at this time. Updates will be provided when available,” the RCMP said.
“If an imminent risk to public safety is identified, we will notify the public.”
The Mounties encouraged anyone with information on the incident to get in touch with the RCMP or make a report anonymously though Crime Stoppers.
