Two families living on Redwood Crescent in Warman were dealing with the loss of their homes after a fire on Friday night.
City of Warman Fire Department said in a Facebook post that crews were called shortly after 6 p.m. and found two homes engulfed by the blaze and high winds pushing the flames 50 feet into the air at times.

The department said that two other homes also caught fire, and burning material fell on the roofs of four other homes as well as melting siding across the back alley on two detached garages.
No one was injured but Warman Fire said the 17 firefighters that attended were exhausted after fighting the blaze.
Crews were helped by trucks from from Osler, Dalmeny and Martensville, Warman Fire said, adding that the effort put in by firefighters meant only initial homes were lost thanks to the “aggressive attack.”
The department said said the blaze was was not suspicious.
Terry Jenson, Minister of Social Services, and MLA for Warman, said in a Facebook post that firefighters deserved praise for their bravery and professionalism and he thanked RCMP for securing the area and keeping everyone back and out of harm’s way.
“It’s a sad day for those families and our hearts are with them as they deal with their lives being turned upside down in such a tragic way,” Jenson said.
Saskatoon firefighters were also dealing with a serious house fire situation on Friday after a blazeon Geary Crescent in the city’s Hampton Village neighbourhood destroyed four homes.
