A 35-year-old man from Tisdale is facing a number of serious charges after officers with the Saskatchewan RCMP’s Prince Albert Crime Reduction Team, Prince Albert Police Services’ Crime Reduction Team, and Tisdale RCMP detachment executed a search warrant in Tisdale on July 9.
Saskatchewan RCMP said in a news release that the search of the home on 102nd St. and a vehicle found 56 grams of fentanyl, 3.5 grams of methamphetamine, 2 grams of cocaine, scales and packaging materials, cellphones, a large sum of cash, three firearms — two of which were loaded — and eight imitation firearms.
The man is facing 10 weapons and drug charges, and is scheduled to appear in Melfort Provincial Court on Monday.
