Murray Wood says Saskatchewan's north is a big draw to American anglers, for some obvious reasons.
La Loche RCMP are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a shooting that happened on Saturday morning.
Officers responded to a call on Janvier Avenue and determined that a man had discharged a firearm, shooting a nearby individual. The suspect then fled north into a wooded area.

One person was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a black Nike Tech hoodie, black pants and a blue medical mask.
La Loche RCMP continue to investigate and are asking anyone with information to contact RCMP or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
