The Saskatchewan RCMP said a homicide investigation in Green Lake has led to a second-degree murder charge against a 47-year-old woman.
The incident was reported to Meadow Lake/Green Lake RCMP at around 10:35 p.m. on on July 21, when police were told there was an injured man in Green Lake.

Officers found the man outside a business on McIntosh Avenue, where paramedics declared him dead.
The man was identified as 46-year-old Michael Lafond, from Green Lake. The RCMP said his family was notified of his death, and victim services have been made available to them.
A woman was arrested on Third Avenue in Green Lake in connection to the investigation, according to a release from the RCMP.
The RCMP’s homicide investigation unit took over the investigation, leading to the charge laid against the 47 year old.
The woman was scheduled to appear in Meadow Lake Provincial Court on Thursday.
