In the coming months, someone in Regina is going to get a significant home upgrade thanks to the Hospitals of Regina Foundation’s Fall Home Lottery.
At the same time, countless people in the city will benefit from the proceeds raised through the sale of lottery tickets.

In all, the foundation says there are $2.1 million in prizes available, including the $1.8-million showhome, which comes with $25,000 in cash.
The lottery was officially launched at the Emerald Park showhome, located at 193 Fairway Road, Wednesday morning.

Proceeds from the Hospitals of Regina Foundation Home Lottery support a number of programs at Regina hospitals and health-care facilities aimed at the youngest patients, including the Rawlco Centre for Mother Baby Care and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the Children’s Program at Wascana Rehabilitation Centre and pediatric programs at Regina General Hospital.

The proceeds will also help fund mental health programs, surgical care, cardiac care and medical imaging. They will also support cancer patients through the Children’s Cancer Clinic and the oncology unit at Pasqua Hospital.
Tickets and more information can be found online, and the showhome is open for viewing Thursdays and Fridays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.
