A 29-year-old man was injured in a shooting in Saskatoon on Thursday night.
According to police, officers responded to an “unknown problem” at a home on the 300 block of First Street East, in the city’s Buena Vista neighbourhood, just after 11:30 p.m.

“Upon arrival, officers located a 29-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement.
“He was transported to hospital in what is believed to be stable condition.”
The police force said the shooting is being investigated by its serious assault unit.
Anyone with information that could help further the investigation was encouraged to contact police or make a report anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
