Several construction projects in Regina over the coming days will have an impact on drivers.
The major road work is on Arcola Avenue, which will be paved in two phases over the next week.

Phase one, which will run from until Sept. 1, will see the eastbound lanes from Prince of Wales Drive to the Highway 1 bypass closed. Two-way traffic will be accommodated in the westbound lanes.
Then, phase two will see the plan reversed. From Sept. 1 to Sept. 4, the westbound lanes will be closed, with two-way traffic accommodated in the eastbound lanes.
There are several other closures to keep in mind in the coming days. Hamilton Street between Seventh and Eighth avenues will be closed from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday for a private event.
Ring Road southbound will have restricted traffic and a reduced speed limit over the McDonald Street overpass Sunday from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m.
A hydrant installation on Ross Avenue between Park Street and Fleury Street will lead to traffic restrictions from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Lane restrictions will be in place at Broad Street and Saskatchewan Drive from Aug. 31 to Sept. 4 to allow for the installation of new conduits.
Sunset Drive between Garnet Street and Montague Street will be closed for water main repairs Monday and Tuesday.
From Monday until Sept. 8, 20th Avenue East will be closed between Murray Place and Douglas Park Crescent for water and sewer work.
Sewer repairs will also impact traffic on Froom Crescent between Dixon Crescent and 14th Avenue on Monday and Tuesday.
A major sewer repair project on Garnet Street between Ninth and 10th avenues will close the road from Monday through Oct. 9.
On Monday, from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Lorne Street between Victoria Avenue and 12th Avenue will be closed for road repairs.
The city says transit riders are encouraged to check with Regina Transit to determine whether any restrictions or closures will affect their routes or bus stops.
