The family of a Prince Albert homicide victim is still searching for answers 35 years after the woman’s death.
According to the Prince Albert Police Service, Tuesday marks 35 years since Jean LaChance was found dead in a wooded area south of the Victoria Hospital.

Police said LaChance was last seen alive on Second Avenue West at about 2 p.m. on Sept. 15, 1991.
“Jean had five children between the ages of four and 11 at the time of her death; those children are now adults and continue to search for answers,” the Prince Albert Police Service said in a statement.
The case remains under investigation by the police force’s historical crimes and missing persons unit, and police asked anyone with information on LaChance’s death to contact police or make a report anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
