Police in Moose Jaw made a significant drug seizure during a traffic stop last week.
According to the Moose Jaw Police Service, officers stopped a vehicle on Sept. 30 after spotting one of the occupants, who was “known to be in violation of their release conditions.”

Police said several occupants of the vehicle were arrested after attempting to flee on foot, and they were found to be carrying 308.9 grams of cocaine. A further 22.2 grams of methamphetamine was found inside the vehicle, police said.
“The total approximate street value of the drugs seized is estimated at more than $33,000,” the Moose Jaw Police Service said in a statement issued Tuesday.
Police said three people are facing charges, including possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, obstructing a peace officer, trespassing, breaching a release order and driving while prohibited.
