Democrat Kathy Castor won election Tuesday to the U.S. House of Representatives representing Florida’s 14th Congressional District, defeating Republican Mike Beltran. Castor persuaded voters to grant her an 11th term in a newly drawn, Republican-friendly district over Beltran, a former state legislator and attorney.
