But that may not be the case for some of the ones found at busy intersections in downtown Regina as walkers wait to cross the street.
In the latest Martel on the Move, 980 CJME’s Kevin Martel took a few hours in the late morning and early afternoon to investigate these walk buttons for pedestrians to see if there really is a purpose for them or if they are simply just for show.
