She was clocked going almost twice the speed limit on the highway outside Regina, so a teenager will have to wait to get her vehicle back.
The RCMP said the vehicle was caught around 11:15 Sunday night on Highway 1, west of Regina. Police radar said the vehicle was going 195 km/h in a 110 km/h zone.
Officers pulled the vehicle over and gave the 19-year-old woman a $560 ticket for driving more than 50 km/h over the speed limit, and the vehicle she was driving was impounded for a week.
