Rain, wind, thunder, and lightning left Weyburn soggy as a thunderstorm passed through the area Tuesday night.
Discover Weyburn reports that rain started falling around 5:30 p.m. By the time the rain ended around 7:30 p.m., 18 millimetres had fallen.
Some storm sewers in the city’s downtown were unable to handle the water resulting in some localized flooding. Eventually the water cleared out.
