Don’t be alarmed if you see and hear a commotion at the Co-op refinery on Wednesday because it is all a test.
The Co-op Refinery Complex (CRC) in Regina notified neighbouring businesses in the industrial park and local media that it will be testing all emergency alarms at 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
The emergency test will also include a full-scale practice evacuation of all employees.
In a news release the CRC said these practice events play an important role in safety planning and procedures.
