Regina police are saying that they have not encountered the same Halloween-themed fentanyl blotters that were found in Winnipeg.
Winnipeg Police seized several blotters that featured a witch riding a broomstick. Police there warned the public that they could be fatal and can look like other items found at this time of the year.
Today, Regina Police said that they “have not encountered the specific item described in reports out of Winnipeg.”
They added that they are always concerned about illegal drugs in the city and the different ways drugs are packaged and sold can present risks to the health and safety of the public, police and other emergency responders.
