A Regina school was put in lockdown following an incident Tuesday afternoon.
Regina police didn’t provide many details because the incident is under investigation, but stated a disturbance caused by a student prompted the lockdown at St. Augustine Community School around 12:45 p.m.
There were no weapons involved, and the matter was resolved by police and staff without incident.
School operations returned to normal within a few minutes.
Police said it’s reassuring that emergency procedures are carried out calmly and efficiently when a threat arises.
