A man is dead after a pickup truck collided with a semi on a grid road near Kindersley Thursday.
RCMP were called to the road about 10 kilometres north of the city shortly before 7 a.m.
According to police, the truck and semi crashed at an intersection.
The pickup driver, a 38-year-old man from Alberta, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the semi was taken to the hospital.
According to RCMP, weather and road conditions were not a factor.
The grid road will be closed for most of Thursday as a traffic reconstructionist assists in the investigation into the cause of the crash.
