The Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation will be the financial beneficiary of an expected large donation this summer.
Funds raised from the CP Women’s Open, taking place Aug. 20 through 26, 2018 at Wascana Country Club in Regina, will go towards a dedicated pediatric cardiology space and specialized equipment in the pediatric outpatient’s clinic at the new Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital.
The hospital, expected to open in 2019, will include three echocardiography exam rooms, and a pulmonary function technology lab specifically meant for children with heart-related ailments.
In the four years of CP’s title sponsorship of the CP Women’s Open, $6.5 million has been raised to support children’s heart health in Canada.
