On Friday night Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP were called to a man who had been shot with a high-powered rifle.
RCMP say leading up to the shooting there had been a domestic incident and that both people involved were related, though no further details were given.
The victim was sent by ambulance to the General Hospital in Regina, his injury is non-life threatening.
A suspect was arrested without incident and remains in custody.
