A semi-automatic assault rifle is one of the weapons found during the search of a home just west of downtown Regina.
On Friday, police searched a home on the 1900 block of Rae Street and seized the assault rifle along with a .22 calibre rifle, 348 rounds of ammunition, cocaine, morphine, three stolen bottles of prescription drugs and cash.
Two people were arrested inside the home. Thirty-six-year-old Tommy Dykes and 42-year-old Rita Mohrbutter face several charges related to the possession of drugs and weapons.
Both will remain in custody and appear in court on Tuesday.
