Teen trapped in car after crash in Moose Jaw

Two teenagers were taken to hospital after the car they were driving in hit a tree in Moose Jaw Saturday night, trapping one of them inside.

Just after 10 p.m, police received a call about a car that hit a tree.

A 15-year-old girl was trapped inside. Moose Jaw Fire Services freed her and took her to Moose Jaw Union Hospital. Then she had to be airlifted to hospital in Saskatoon.

According to police, the damage to the vehicle is estimated at $20,000, and no charges had been laid as of Sunday afternoon.
