A Regina woman is facing charges after allegedly setting up eight fake charitable organizations to get money through a provincial grant system.
On Aug. 5, the Regina Police Service received a report of possible fraud. The investigation led to the search of a Regina residence on Sept. 3. An arrest was made after that.
Deanna Marie Beston, 50, is charged with fraud over $5,000. She makes a court appearance on Oct. 22.
