Caswell Hill house fire shuts down section of Idylwyld

A Caswell Hill house fire briefly blocked traffic on Idylwyld Drive Sunday afternoon.

Police were called to the house fire just before 4 p.m. at 1127 Idywyld Drive North, across the street from Saskatchewan Polytechnic.

Smoke was coming from the house when crews arrived. The fire was brought under control in just a few minutes and crews entered the home to extinguish any hot spots.

Idylwyld Drive was closed between 33rd and 32nd Streets.
