Controlled natural gas flare near Saskatoon landfill

There was quite the flare up southwest of Saskatoon Monday morning, but the giant geyser of flame coming from the landfill area is nothing to be concerned about.

TransGas was doing pipeline maintenance, removing natural gas from the system prior to the work.

The flare up last until about 7:30 a.m.
