A 15-year-old Regina boy is facing a number of charges after a potential threat at a high school Tuesday afternoon.
Around 12:49 p.m. the school in the Coronation Park area received information about a possible threat. The 15-year-old was later found with a welder’s hammer and wearing an air-filter mask and goggles. The investigation revealed the items were stolen.
The youth cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
He is charged with, among other things, uttering threats, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and theft under $5,000.
He will make his first appearance at Youth Court Wednesday.
