People were being asked to avoid the 1600 block of Elliott Street as Regina police and firefighters dealt with a natural gas leak Saturday afternoon.
According to police, a vehicle accidentally made contact with a gas meter near Gale’s Wholesale. No one was injured in the crash.
Police evacuated people in the area for precautionary reasons.
SaskEnergy personnel were also contacted to deal with the leak.
