Seven players on the Saskatoon Blades recorded a multi-point game on route to thumping the Kootenay Ice 7-2 Wednesday night.
Third-year Blade Cameron Hebig opened the scoring three-and-a-half minutes into the game netting his fourth goal in five games. Hebig added another late in the first giving Saskatoon a 3-1 lead going into the break.
The Blades continued to press in the second with two goals from Josh Uhrich. Mason McCarty and Nikita Soshnin added goals in the third propelling Saskatoon to its second win of the season.
Wyatt Sloboshan, Connor Gay and Brycen Martin combined for seven assists in the win.
The Blades continue a home stint on Friday welcoming the Swift Current Broncos on Friday.
