A 17-year-old boy will spend no time in custody after being caught carrying seven fentanyl pills in Saskatoon.
The teen, who cannot be named because of his age, received a conditional discharge after pleading guilty to possession of fake OxyContin containing fentanyl. That means he won’t have a criminal record if he abides by his conditions for six months.
Police from the Saskatoon Integrated Drug Enforcement Street Team (SIDEST) charged the 17-year-old following a traffic stop on 22nd Street on Aug. 25.
